Hassan Fawaz holds more than 20 years of professional experience in leading transactions across multiple industries in MENAT, the UK and Africa.

He was a founding member of Audacia Capital Limited, a private equity firm based out of Dubai and regulated by DFSA, during his tenure Hassan led various high-profile transactions. Prior to that Hassan was a member of the founding team in setting up Qatar First Bank’s private equity business, where he was involved in numerous high-profile transactions globally worth more than $250 million; including several acquisitions in the real estate sector, upstream and downstream oil, and gas transactions.

Prior to his commitment to the Qatar First Bank, Fawaz served as member of the Investment Management team at Sama Dubai (a member of the Dubai Holding), overlooking the sovereign fund’s $60B real estate portfolio across MENAT, Asia and Australia. Hassan started his career as a Consultant with Deloitte Touche Middle East in Dubai, offering business and management solutions to companies throughout the MENA region.

Hassan sits on the Board of Directors of several companies in the region and an active participant in several philanthropic organizations.

He holds an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from the Lebanese American University in Beirut.
